What is Marketplace at 2500?
Marketplace at 2500 is a Food Truck Park and Market Located in Moline, Illinois. Our goal is to support local small businesses, food vendors, growers, bakers, makers, and artisans by providing a new venue to directly market their goods. We are pet friendly and have outdoor seating in a park like area where the community can come together and enjoy local food trucks, vendors, and small businesses.
Is there always Food Truck on site?
This season we have food trucks scheduled daily for lunch and dinner. We have breakfast Trucks scheduled on Thursdays at 7:30am and 8/9am most Saturdays & Sundays. Please check Facebook for any updates or changes to the schedule.
Can I rent your food trucks?
Food trucks are operated independently from Marketplace at 2500. If you are looking to hire a Food Truck for a private event, out of respect for our customers and food trucks, please do not solicit their services at Marketplace at 2500. You can typically find them online or linked on our Facebook page.
Can I bring in my own food?
We have no problem with outside food brought in due to dietary restrictions and allergies. However, we do require that the majority of your party support our food trucks and community market vendors by buying their food and wares.
Are pets allowed?
We absolutely welcome friendly pets on a leash! Pets are not allowed on the tables, as it is a violation of the Health Code. For your convenience, we have installed dog hook leash holders to the tables and have waste receptacles on site. Please make sure you pick up after your pet.
Can I reserve tables?
Seating is on a first come basis. However, if you have a party of 15 or more, please contact us at marketplaceat2500@gmail.com and we will make accommodations for you.
Are you closed on any holidays?
We are currently closed on most holidays. However, it is part of our overall vision to have holiday events at Marketplace at 2500 in the future. Please check our Facebook page for updated schedules.
Does weather affect food trucks?
Yes. Inclement weather might make it too dangerous for some trucks and their staff to reach our location safely. Sometimes changes and/or cancellations can happen at the last minute. Keep up to date on our website and social media to see any cancellations or changes to the schedule.
Do you want to request a certain food truck?
Please email us at marketplaceat2500@gmail.com and let us know! We will reach out to them to see if we can get them on the schedule.
Do you have themed night specials?
We currently do not. However, it is a part of the overall vision for Marketplace at 2500 and we would love to host themed nights in the future!
Do you have onsite parking?
We have 32 spaces on our property. If all spaces are taken, you can park across the street on 25th Ave. Court or U-Haul lot across the street. If you have a truck and trailer, we do request that you use on street parking instead of pulling through multiple spaces.
Are you open in the winter?
Are regular schedule is March 21st – October 31st. However, there are some food trucks who will brave the weather to bring you food. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page to see an updated schedule.
Are credit cards accepted?
Most of our food trucks accept cash, credit cards, or even digital payment. If needed there is an ATM at the gas station across the street.
Is Marketplace wheelchair accessible?
We have 2 ADA parking spaces and have new asphalt leading to the food trucks. We have 2 ADA tables, and we are working on installing a smooth surface path to them.
Smoking?
There is no smoking at the tables, near the food trucks, or in undesignated areas. We have a designated smoking are near the entrance. Please put all cigarette butts in the ashtrays.
Are there accessible bathrooms?
We keep a porta potty onsite April 1st-October 31st weather permitting. There is also gas station across the street.
Is outside alcohol permitted on the premise?
No, outside alcohol is not permitted.
Do you have all the food trucks newest menus?
While we try to stay current, we don’t always have updated menus for each of the food trucks. Please check their social media/websites for more details.
How do I know which food trucks are coming and when?
We will post a monthly Schedule on our webpage. Check our Facebook Page for our most up to date schedule of trucks by going to our Facebook page.
Can I pre-order the meals so they are ready upon arrival?
We have several food trucks that have call ahead and online ordering. Check out our daily posts for our current Food Trucks ordering information.
